She was predeceased by: her parents, Wesley Willis Thomas and Margaret Ruth Thompson; her siblings, Maxine Atkins, Jan Deason (David), Rita Fenton (John), Clyde Leon and Joe Thomas; and her grandson Brandon Lewis.
She is survived by: her husband Leo Dallas Hawks; her children, Michelle Hawks and Brent Hawks (Pamela); and her grandchildren, Johnathan Lewis-Crane (Jeremy), Austin Williams (Sydney Woody-Williams), Andrew Hawks and Lynzie Williams. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, extended family, and many dear friends.
