It is with sadness that the passing of Edward Greer of Cartersville, Georgia is shared. Edward, born on August 4, 1926 in Griffin, Georgia, passed away on October 15, 2026. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Edward Greer to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his wife Lillian "Tippy" Greer; his parents, Zackie Greer and Emmett Greer; his siblings, Eugene Greer, Virginia and Mary Ann; and his son-in-law Steve Gibbons.
He is survived by: his children, Susan Greer-Mote, Peggy Greer Gibbons and John Edward Greer; his grandchildren, Natalie Miller (Dave) and Stephen Gibbons (Emily); and his great grandchildren, Will, Amelia, Joseph, Lara and Luka. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the NorthStar Church (3413 Blue Springs Rd, Kennesaw, GA 30144). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
