He was predeceased by: his parents, Aaron Martin, Sr. and Ruby Knuckles Martin; his siblings, Aaron Martin, Jr., Reuben C. Martin, Catherine Martin, Betty J. James, Ethel M. Johnson and Eddie Dorothy Miller; and his sister-in-law Fay Jewell (Walter).
He is survived by: his wife Mildred Martin; his sons, Timothy P. Martin and Ernest Lamont Martin; his siblings, Bobby Joe Martin (Kharon), Evelyn Moore and Marilyn Martin; and his siblings-in-law, Shirley Henderson, Cora Wood (George), Joyce Vazquez (Tony), Barbara Speights (Richard), Ronald Arnold (Marion) and Ellis Arnold (Renita). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Mack Eppinger and Sons Funeral Home (210 N Bartow St, Cartersville, GA 30120). The lying in state will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Greater Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church (1 Mt Olive St, Cartersville, GA 30120). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at the Providence Cemetery (165 Old Tennessee Rd NE, Cartersville, GA 30121).
