She was predeceased by: her parents, William Fuqua and Nannie Fuqua; her husband Charles Barnette; and her son Glenn Barnette. She is survived by: her children, Dennis Barnette, Gary Barnette, Tim Barnette, Angie Taff, Adean Wade and Syndey Ray; and her siblings, Daniel Fuqua, Wayne Fuqua, Valenda Bailey and Blanch Tew. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
