He is survived by: his wife Sharon Hicks; his sons, Brian Southern (Sheila) and Kevin Ray; his grandchildren, Kyle, Hunter, Dalton, Allie, Kayla, Kamden, Kiera and Paisley; his great grandchildren, Keilani Ray and Lettie James Southern; his great great grandchildren, Clayton, Brooks and Ledger; his sisters, Wanda Hicks and Amelia Huskins; his nieces and nephews, Chris Dutto, Dustin Hicks, Keely Dutto, Peggy, Lynn, Brenda and Chad Stewart (Amy); his uncle Willy Ray; and his sister-in-law Diane Knight (Roger).
A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Chesney Farm (100 Cassandra View SW, Cartersville, GA 30120).
