She was predeceased by: her husband Gene Hester; her son DeWayne Hester; her daughter-in-law Sandra Hester; her parents, Mack Edward Smith and Annie Loraine Spears Smith; and her sister Ann Earnest.
She is survived by: her children, Ronnie Hester and Sherry Foster (Winston Hines); her grandchildren, Brittany Holmes (Corey), Shaun Foster (Caitlin) and Brinnon Hines (Brittany); her great grandchildren, Easton Foster, McKenzie Holmes, Emmarie Foster and Gracie Hines; and her sisters, Gloria Tyree and Brenda Syler (Jim).
