She is survived by: her children, Ricky Cooper, Tyrone Cooper, Gregory Cooper, Justin Cooper (Amber), Machelle Pickel (William), Susan Oakes (Cliff) and Lisa Thomasan (Nick Cooley); her grandchildren, Erin Jackson (Cedric), Joshua Pickel (Chelsea Gray), Cheyenne Swinney (Paul), Zachary Oakes and Jeff Cooper; her great grandchildren, Levi, Landon Cooper and Axle Pickel; and her sister Betty Jo Hazelwood. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
