It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Howard Lee Stephens of Cartersville, Georgia, who passed away on April 10, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Stephens and Elizabeth Whitener; his wife Myrtle Jean Stephens; his son David Stephens; his grandparents, Tom and Lily Beryl Stephens; his grandson Russell Carr; his great grandchild Kaitlyn Carr; and his son-in-law Cliffton Carr.
He is survived by: his children, Imogen Carr and Mark Stephens; his grandchildren, Chris Carr and Julie Stephens-Haase; and his great grandchildren, Ashley Hale, Niveah Wilcox, Mckenzie Carr, Josh Carr, Jackson Carr, Skyle Cole-Carr, Kaylee Hale, Emily Hale, Camden Hale, Cassia Haase, Ellianna Haase and Angela Carr. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
