He was predeceased by: his wife Marie Joyce Wilson; his daughter Tamra Smith; and his parents, Walter Wilson and Mary Wilson. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Maegan Wilson (Brendan Glover) and Aubree Smith (Cody Martinez); and his sisters, Sue Bennett and Geraldine Holmes.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 14th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Parnick Jennings Funeral Home & Cremation Services (430 Cassville Rd, Cartersville, GA 30120). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
