We announce the death of Janice Marie White of Cartersville, Georgia, born in La Grange, Illinois, who passed away on October 21, 2026, at the age of 73. Janice will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lamar Addison and Lois Margaret Addison; and her brother Steve Addison. She is survived by: her children, Michelle King (Anthony), Melissa Sojka (Patrick), Jesse White (Nikki) and Shawn Sharp (Krista); her grandchildren, Emily Dothard, Katie Kaylor, Conner Cox, AJ King, Zoe Holt, Hunter Holt, Palmyra White, PJ Sojka, Christopher Sharp, Aurora Sharp, Valerie Sharp, Krista White and Eli White; her great grandchildren, Briar Dothard and Emery Dothard; and her sisters, Norma Ray and Charlotte Tipton. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Parnick Jennings Funeral Home & Cremation Services (430 Cassville Rd, Cartersville, GA 30120). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at the Sunset Memory Gardens (790 Indian Mound Rd SE, Cartersville, GA 30120).
