She was predeceased by: her parents, Allene Hensley Moates and Steve Morgan Hensley; the father of her children Richard Eugene Owens; and her significant other John William Oliver. She is survived by: her brothers, Willie (PeeWee), Jesse Hensley and Jimmy Hensley (Wanda); her children, Gwendolyn (Gwen), Stephen Jeremy Owens and Richard Eugene Owens, Jr.; her grandchildren, Randi Smith Mullins (Tommy), Rachel J. Calvin, Richard Owens III, Rebekah Owens (Cole Bohannon) and Addalyn Reece; her great grandchildren, Patrick Smith, Sophie Calvin (Nick) and Caspian Owens; and her stepsons, John Oliver (Bobbie) and Richie Oliver (Ann).
