He was predeceased by: his parents, John Willis Gray and Ella Leona Wildes (Hancock); his stepfather Gilbert Wildes; his brother Troy Gray; his stepbrothers, Harold Gray and Aubrey Gray; his wife Mary Gray; and his friend Anil Patel.
He is survived by: his children, John Earl Jr. Hoffman (Jan), Richard Duane Hoffman (Sabrina), Catherine Leona White (Mike), Lynn Welton and Joshua Allen Gray (Renee); his former wife Rena Hoffman; and his friends, Pravin Patel (Shobha), Rita Patel and Nilesh Patel (Devi). He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
There are no services scheduled at this time and the family requests no flowers be sent.
