With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joretta Walker Scott of Cartersville, Georgia, born in Mill Spring, North Carolina, who passed away on April 28, 2023 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph N. Walker and Ura Whiteside Walker; her husband Fredrick W. Scott; and her siblings, Phillip D. Walker, Joan W. Roberts and Joe Walker.
She is survived by: her siblings, Linda Martin, Jon Foster, Rebecca Walker, Sheila Shields, Mark Walker and Karen Mills; her daughters, Julie Kimbel (Jeff) and Sherri Crawford (Steve); and her grandchildren, Morgan Kimbel Hucker (Matthieu), Tyler Crawford and Bryce Crawford.
