He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Wellman; his children, Christopher Wellman (Ali Wellman), Ashley Wellman and Brittany Wellman; his grandchildren, Riley Hatch, Lilah Wellman, Jamie Wellman and Walter Henry Wellman; and his siblings, Karen Wellman, Mary Stacey and Michael Wellman (Bo).

Visitation was held on Monday, August 24th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Parnick Jennings Funeral Home & Cremation Services (430 Cassville Rd, Cartersville, GA 30120). A celebration of life was held on Monday, August 24th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
