With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nellie Pearl Goggins of Cartersville, Georgia, born in Taylorsville, Georgia, who passed away on July 21, 2023 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nellie Mae Anthony Turner (Cartersville) and Walter Turner; her siblings, Carlton, Woodrow, Wiley, Henrietta and Willie Bee; her son Osborne Vernon Goggins, Jr.; and her grandson LeTerrance Goggins.
She is survived by: her children, Bobby Turner (Velma) of Cartersville, Georgia, Paula Turner of Cartersville, Georgia and Mary Goggins of Cartersville, Georgia; her siblings, Trunettie Talbert of Cartersville, Walter Turner (Annie) of Saginaw, Christine Moore of Kennesaw, Bettye Batts (Bennie) of Saginaw, Fred Turner of Cartersville and John Turner (Lisa) of Cartersville, Georgia; and her goddaughter Latisha Anderson. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren.
