He was predeceased by: his birth mother Dorothy; his parents, Mae and Robert; his siblings, Snoweena and William; and his great grandchild Katana Sage.

He is survived by: his wife Margie Morgan; his children, Lisa (Scott Cowart) and Darrin Lee Morgan; his grandchildren, Christy (Chris Hiland), Zach (Laura Cowart), Mirindi (Paris Cowart) and Morgan Cowart (Destiny Gayton); his great grandchildren, Raylyn, Eli, Lilly of Mammie, CJ, Zandy, Zachary Jr., Daymi, Kaliyah and Maela; and his caregiver Tana Romero. He is also survived by his family, including his niece and several nephews.
