It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Emmett (Cartersville, Georgia), who passed away on October 8, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Bud Emmett and Clara Emmett; his sons, Richard Emmett Jr. and Danny Emmett; his stepchildren, Mark Hancock (Michelle), Sheila Hancock and Laura Hall (Randy); his siblings, Kathy Day, Vicki Evans, Debbie Thurman (Bobby), Peggy Bowman, Tommy Emmett and Troy Emmett (Faith); and his caregiver Bonnie Lavonne Fowler. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
