He was predeceased by: his parents, E. J. Pollard and Essie Mae Pollard; his daughter Kristy Thompson; and his brothers, Junior Pollard and Billy Pollard.

He is survived by: his wife Elaine Pollard; his children, Donnie Pollard (Sherie), Keith Pollard (Sandy) and Jason Roberts; and his brother Jerry Pollard (Malene). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
