He is survived by: his mother JoAnn Renette Carnes; his children, Aiden Carnes, Rayden Boatner and Alyssa Thompson; his siblings, Randall Carnes Jr. (Crandel Allmon), Jesse Carnes (Ashely Dowling), Kevin Carnes (Amber Carnes), Pamela Patterson (Antoine Ozell) and Willow Carnes; his stepmother Angela Carnes; and his aunts and uncles, David Carnes, Terry Carnes, Shelby Thomas, Mary Ross, Tammy Hutchens and Ranea Houston. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
