She was predeceased by: her parents, William Leonard Toney, Sr. and Linda Jo Thrower Toney; her husband Howard Bowen; her brother Nick Maitland Toney; her grandparents, Leonard Bonner Toney and Georgia Mildred Humphrey Toney; and her foster parents, Charlie Stephens and Virginia Stephens.
She is survived by: her children, Kristina Michelle Thomas, Lauren Taylor Thomas and Leonard Avery Toney Thomas; her granddaughter London Elizabeth Stevenson; and the father of her children Kris Hal Thomas. She is also survived by cousins, extended family members, and friends.
