He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Eugene Strickland and Catherine Pressley Strickland; and his siblings, Mickey Strickland, Barbara Brown and Cathy Lee.

He is survived by: his wife Kathy Munsey Strickland; his children, Amanda Strickland Temples (Don) and Thomas Eric Strickland (Mandi); his siblings, Jerry (Patricia), Larry (Jeanie), Robert, Davy (Candice) and Karen Strickland; Camille Temples Abney (Wright), Caroline Temples Moon (Adam), Andrew, Ethan, Eli Strickland, Brandon, Bella and Christian Cox. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kingston Baptist Church or to a charity of your choice.
