She was predeceased by : her husband William Otis Steele Sr.; her daughter Peggy Sue Sisson; her siblings, Paul Matthews, Garvin Matthews, Hoover Matthews, Mary Abernathy and Francis Gossett; and her parents, James Matthews and Alma Matthews.
She is survived by : her children, William Otis Jr. Steele (Felisa), Judy Ann Vines, Brenda Gayle Hines, Donna Lynne Hanson (Jerry) and Gina Renee Dobbs; her sister Faye Abernathy (Robert Dale); and her sister-in-law Ann Hulsey. She is also survived by many grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; many great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
