He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Kerns, Sr. and Stella Selman Kerns; his brothers, Ralph Kerns, Jr. and Robert "Bobby" Kerns; and his nephew Todd "Boo" Kerns.
He is survived by: his sister Lynn Mills; and his sister-in-law Joann Kerns. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the New Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery - Lindale (1893 Booger Hollow Rd, Lindale, GA 30147). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
