Cheryl Ann Stager Obituary
It is with sadness that the passing of Cheryl Ann Stager of Cave Spring, Georgia is shared. Cheryl, born on April 25, 1958, passed away on September 1, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Floyd "Jim" Stager and Virginia Watson Stager. She is survived by: her daughter Silva Marie Colburn (Stager); her son-in-law Jay Colburn; her grandchildren, Emily Cooper (Dawson Cooper) and Zachary Colburn; her great grandchildren, Jackson, Colton, Alivia, John, Waylon Cooper and Kadence Colburn; and her siblings, Bill Stager (Janita), Jim Stager, Tom Stager, Josh Stager (Teresa), Sandy Winkle (Robert), Cynthia McCormick (Mike), Janie Davis and Dixie Wyatt (Keith). She is also survived by 23 nieces and nephews and 30 great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Good Shepherd Funeral Home (2750 Shorter Ave, Rome, GA 30165). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
