She was predeceased by : her parents, Bill Black and Pearl Fannin Black; her husband Julius George; and her siblings, Lanolian Black, J. D. Black, Lamar Black, Mary Taylor, Billie Chambless and Savilla Daniel.
She is survived by : her sons, Steven George and Dante George; her granddaughter Lori Christine George; and her siblings, Lawrence Black (Pam), Barbara Burrows and Betty Almond (Robert). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
