He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Elizabeth Allen Hudgins; and his siblings, Johnny Hudgins, David Hudgins, Dewey Hudgins, Ellis Hudgins, Thomas Hudgins, Plumar Dabbs, Shirley Williams, Mary Lou Youngblood and Lillie Mae Hudgins Ledford.
He is survived by: his father Tom Hudgins; his wife Shirley Ann Shaw Hudgins; his children, Frankie Hudgins (Karie), Lisa Ann Welchel (Brian), Tammy Michelle Ridgeway (Hal) and Marlena Renee Cromer (William); his grandchildren, Brian Green, April Green, Jessie Hudgins, Jake Hudgins, Dakota Hudgins, Trace Hudgins, Kirsten Hudgins, Brandon Campbell, Chris Campbell, Cody Cromer and Johnathan Cromer; and his stepsister Glenda Martin.
