She was predeceased by: her parents, Luke Atkins and Ruth Atkins; and her sisters, Annette Brown and Willie Murdock. She is survived by: her husband Rev. Jerry Vann, Sr.; her children, Jerry Vann, Jr. (Andy) and Kasha; her son-in-law Trevor Peek; her grandchildren, Matthew Vann and Kayla Andrews; and her sister Alva Townsend. She is also survived by great grandchildren.
