She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Leonard Cantrell and Lois Mullinax Cantrell; her husband William Howard Mitchell (Billy); and her sister Ellen Cantrell Moore. She is survived by: her nephews, Gregory Lee Rowell and Gene Cantrell Moore (Shannon); her stepsons, Tony Mitchell (Tammy) and Timothy Lee Mitchell (Celia); and her stepgrandchildren, Brett Mitchell (Kiersten), London Mitchell and Kynlee Mitchell.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Olin L. Gammage & Sons Funeral Home (106 N College St, Cedartown, GA 30125). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home (106 N College St, Cedartown, GA 30125).
The family respectfully requests that all floral arrangements be omitted, and that memorial contributions be made to Oak Grove Cemetery Fund or Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
