It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carole Ann Johnson of Cedartown, Georgia, who passed away on April 4, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles E. Hampton and Lynn Sargent Hampton; her brother Charles Gary "Buddy" Hampton; her grandchildren, Stephanie Ledbetter, Eric Ledbetter and Jackson Marchbanks; and her niece Dana Hampton.
She is survived by: her husband David F. Johnson; her children, David "Davey" Johnson (Eva), Cindy Johnson and Kim Marchbanks (Richard); her grandchildren, Juliette Johnson, Trevor McElwee (Cade), Jeremy Ledbetter (Caitlin), Brad Marchbanks (Leah) and Hannah Marchbanks; and her great grandchildren, Caiston, Rigleigh McElwee, Layla, Aubrey Marchbanks and Hunter Richard Allen Marchbanks.
The family has respectfully requested that flowers be omitted; donations can be made to the New Harmony Baptist Church.
