He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Runyon and Pauline Hampton Runyon; his wife Carol Howard Runyon; and his siblings, Floyd Runyon, Johnny Ray Runyan and Barbara Runyon.
He is survived by: his children, Nick Ellis Runyon and Kimberly Lynn Runyon; his granddaughter Sofie Caroline Runyon; and his siblings, Mallene Trawick, Martha Coley (Raymond), Dean Hicks, Sue Greve, Charlotte Cox (Ray), Ellen Lee (Warren), Roy Runyon (Renee) and Reid Runyon (Donna).
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Smith & Miller Funeral Home (1000 N Main St, Cedartown, GA 30125). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
