She was predeceased by: her parents, John Stubbs and Ruth Gowens Stubbs; her husband Richard Franklin Garner, Sr.; her children, Catherine Christine Elizabeth York and Richard Franklin Garner, Jr.; and her brother Leonard Stubbs.
She is survived by: her sons, Jimmy Garner (Heather) of Douglasville, Jack Garner (Brenda) of Cedartown and Joey Garner (Lea) of Cedartown; and her siblings, Carolyn Bentley of Cedartown, Shirley Kyles of Cedartown, Mary Jane Money of Cedartown, Diane Lackey (Edward) of Cedartown and David Stubbs (Rose) of Warner Robins. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Piedmont Ave. Baptist Church, 622 N. Piedmont Ave., Rockmart, GA 30153 in memory of Mrs. Garner.
