It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ellie Smith Canter of Cedartown, Georgia, born in Cherokee, Alabama, who passed away on January 9, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Hoyt Smith and Geneva Arrington Smith. She is survived by : her daughter Cynthia Langley Canter; her grandchildren, Josh Erwin and Cailey Allmon; her great grandchildren, Paisleigh Erwin, Emberleigh Erwin and Addi Mae Lester; and her son Chris Canter.
