She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hubert and Eula Adell Lockridge Gibson; her husband Henry Edward Short; her daughter Karen Denise Short Bridges; and her siblings, Louise Liner, Mary Frances Corn, Herbert Gibson and Wayne Gibson.
She is survived by: her sons, John Short (Mary) and Brad Short; her grandchildren, Matt Bridges, Kayla Bridges, Katie Swafford (Drew) and Emma Hellriegel (Jake); and her great grandchildren, Josie, Bo, Ella Ruth, Case Swafford and Chloe Hellriegel. She is also survived by nieces and nephews; and several other extended family.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Gammage Funeral Home (106 N College St, Cedartown, GA 30125). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
