He was predeceased by : his parents, Frank "Red" Lott and Edna Florence Barton Lott; his wife Billie Sue Grimes Lott; his daughter Leslei Lott Adams; and his sister Tessie Peyton.

He is survived by : his children, Neeve Owen (Barry) and Barton Lott (Julie); his son-in-law David Adams; his grandchildren, Lindsey Landrum (Jody), Mary Ella Owen (TJ), Logan Adams and Dori Owen; and his great grandchildren, Carter Landrum, Walker Landrum and Isla Montgomery.
