In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Gary had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Gary may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Richard Martin and Mary Keith Martin Ross; his sister Claris Geneva Martin; and his nephew Mark Nelson. He is survived by: his son Wade Martin (Debbie) of The Villages, Florida; and his siblings, Richard Martin of Bremen, Georgia and Mary Sue Dillard of Shannon, Georgia. He is also survived by five nieces; three nephews; and numerous cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cedartown First Methodist Church (201 Wissahickon Ave, Cedartown, GA 30125). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
