It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Paulus of Cedartown, Georgia, born in Salt Lake City, Utah, who passed away on June 21, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar G. Paulus and Crystal A. Paulus; his son Eric Paulus; and his sister Bonnie Hess. He is survived by: his wife Joan Gentry Paulus; his children, Michelle Brown, Wendy Lopez (Andres) and Dustin Cole (Ashley); his grandchildren, Gabbie Ramos, Gracie Ramos, Cassie Cole, Kylie Cole, Lily Lopez, Tristin Payne, Jaxon Cole, Andrea Lopez-Cruz, Leslie Lopez and Andrew Lopez; his great grandchild Remi Cruz; his sisters, Delores Smith and Cheri Law (Merril); and his niece Debbie Vasquez.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to Polk County Sheriff's Office K-9 Unit.
