She was predeceased by: her parent Myrtice Carnes Stroup; her stepfather Charlie Stroup; her daughter Teresa Diane Stroup; and her brothers, Gary Stroup and Eddie Stroup.
She is survived by: her husband Buddy Tyrone "Ty" Stroup; her children, Stephanie Lynn Dial (Kevin) and Stephen Stroup (Donna); and her sister Denese Peace (Greg). She is also survived by nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren.
