He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Haygood and Mary Alice Poole Haygood; and his siblings, Callie Mae Haygood Wolf and Lamar Grady Haygood. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Kay Glendhill Haygood; his children, Herman Howard Haygood, Jr. (Cynthia), Christie Cagle (Matthew) and Peyton Haygood; his grandchildren, Nicole Leigh McCullough (Shane) and Mason Keith Cagle (Janna); and his brother Edward Haygood (Kathy). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Oaknoll Chapel (2542 Shorter Ave, Rome, GA 30165). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
