He was predeceased by: his parents, John Elmer Wood and Charlotte Wright Wood. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Carter Wood; his sons, Lance Anderson Wood (Dawn), Anthony Tyson Wood (Camron) and James Benjamin Wood (Carey); his granddaughters, Erica, Rebecca and Charlotte; and his brother Michael Wood.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home (304 W Elm St, Rockmart, GA 30153). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
