He was predeceased by: his sister Yvonne Redding Lowe. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Hammond Redding; his children, Gary Todd Redding, Bryan Scott Redding (Amy) and Wendy Redding Dobson (Anthony); his grandchildren, Kristopher John Redding (Kelsi), Chandler Vas Redding and Sophia Danielle Key; his great grandchildren, Brooklyn Redding and Peyton Redding; and his siblings, Tony Redding and Sheila Redding Barrett.
In lieu of flowers, Gary's family requests memorial donations be made to Murphy-Harpst Children's Center, 740 Fletcher Street, Cedartown, GA, 30125.
