She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wells and Zona Jackson Wells; her daughter Larita "Ashleigh" Chastain; and her siblings, Pete Richards, Ima Jean Oliver, Maryann Starley, Cathy Singleton, James Wells and Martha Ellen Wells.
She is survived by: her son Anthony Chastain; and her sisters, Charlotte Coleman, Janie Ragsdale and Wanda Eason. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Smith & Miller Funeral Home (1000 N Main St, Cedartown, GA 30125). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
