With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Martyn Mercer (Cedartown, Georgia), who passed away on May 29, 2022 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Hammond and Martyn Clarke Mercer, Sr.. He is survived by: his children, Martyn C Mercer III, Mary Catherine "Katy", Carolyn Gayle "Carol", Samuel Mitchell "Mitchell" and Flora Anne; his wife Gayle Darlene Lockridge; his children, Marty Mercer (Karen), Katy Abernathy (Phil), Carol Capers, Mitchell Mercer (Elise) and Flo Markland (Kyle); and his grandchildren, Mary Hammond Mercer (Danielle), Milly Mercer, Catherine Abernathy, Katy Capers, William Capers (Megan), Sam Mercer, Elise Mercer, Charles Mercer, Mackenzie Markland and Andrew Markland.
