He is survived by: his children, Donna Pointer (Sammy), Chris Mobbs (Michelle) and Jenny Cooper; his sisters, Joanne Gable and Patricia Cannon (Noel); and his sons, Sammy Pointer and Joe Bates. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
