He was predeceased by: his father Theodore Wesson. He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Chapman Thompson; his son Randy Thompson, Jr.; his grandson DJ Thompson; and his sister Connie Spears (Gene). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
