He was predeceased by: his parents, Manco C. Jackson and Mamie Hayles Jackson; his wife Frances Stephenson Jackson; his granddaughter Bethany Yarbrough; and his siblings, Ralph Jackson, Deane Blissett and Mary Jo Plumley.

He is survived by: his children, Raymond "Barry" Jackson, Jr. (Teresa) and Marie Smith (Larry). He is also survived by Ten grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
