Ruth Ann Edwards Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Ann Edwards of Cedartown, Georgia, who passed away on April 17, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Ruth Ann may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Ruth Ann touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Edwards and Gaynell Dyer Edwards. She is survived by: her husband James Douglas Edwards; her sons, Joseph Price Steed, II (Melisha) and Jonathan Douglas Edwards; and her grandchildren, Corey, Tiffany and Miranda Steed.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Aragon Cemetery (55 GA-101, Aragon, GA 30104).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to a Children's Hospital of your choosing.
