She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Lee Hopkins and MaeDell Brumitt Hopkins of Cedartown; her siblings, Doris Hopkins Ferguson, Melvyn Hopkins and Evelyn Hopkins Myers; and her grandson Travis Justin Lugo.
She is survived by: her husband J. L. Dutton of Rockmart; her daughter Krista Whittington; her grandchildren, Anthony Lugo and Cynthia Lugo; and her great grandchildren, Emily Lugo and Alexa Lugo.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of the Lester C. Litesey Funeral Home (230 S College St, Cedartown, GA 30125). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
