She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Houston South and Hazel Louise Smith South; and her husband Carl Joe "Joey" Gilmore, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Jory McCown (Jordan), Haley McCown, Whitney McCown, Audrey McCown and Danielle Penton; her grandchildren, Walker, Maggeigh McCown, Willow and Colt Hood; and her uncle Wayne.
