She was predeceased by: her father Conner L. Mobbs; and her siblings, Sarah George, Estelle Hopkins and Conner Lee Mobbs. She is survived by: her close friend John C. Green, Sr.; her children, Janie Green Carter (Allen), Linda Green Morgan (Randy) and John C. Green, Jr.; and her grandchildren, Johnna Green Owens (Heath), Randall McDowell (Tina), Jason McDowell (Jodie), Michael McDowell, Chris Morgan (Connie) and Carissa Carter Boatner (Eric).
