It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eleanor Connell Wilson (Chamblee, Georgia), who passed away on May 1, 2026, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Colonel John Fidelis Connell and Florence Fulton Connell. She is survived by: her husband Charles Wilson; her sister Jean Connell; her sister-in-law Deloris Connell; her daughters, Sandra Fancher (Mike) and Cynthia Czerwonka (Jeff); and her grandchildren, Timothy Fancher, Ruth Fancher and Selah Czerwonka. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 7th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Crowell Brothers Funeral Homes & Crematory (5051 Peachtree Industrial Blvd, Peachtree Corners, GA 30092). The lying in state was held on Saturday, May 9th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:40 AM at the Chamblee First United Methodist Church (4147 Chamblee Dunwoody Rd, Chamblee, GA 30341). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
